The Mid-Autumn Festival also known as the Lantern Festival and is a festival celebrated by the Chinese. On this day, the Chinese believe that the moon is at its brightest and fullest size, coinciding with harvest time in the middle of Autumn. Lanterns will be designed/displayed in all sizes and shapes; being treated as beacons to light the way to prosperity.
